Immigration
Immigration policy is in need of reform. For the first time since we began a continuous stream of immigration in the mid 1960s, the majority of Americans across party lines support some kind of immigration reform. This provides the government with a mandate to reshape our immigration programs. There are five main categories of immigration, it is more relevant to view these categories as “Legal Pathways” each of these with various requirements and purposes.

This category exists for individuals with job offers or specialized skills. There are two main subcategories categories for Employment-based Immigration (EBI):

This category encourages immigration from countries with historically low rates of immigration to the U.S. and selections random applicants for immigration (50,000 visas annually)
This category is redundant and will be suspended indefinitely.
Humanitarian Programs & Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
The purpose of TPS is for individuals from countries facing conflict, natural disasters, or extraordinary conditions. The problem is that these immigrants usually remain in the United States far beyond the allotted amount of time they receive. This program will need to be restructured and the cases must received more scrutiny.
Family- Based immigration
Family based immigration allows U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents (green card holders) to sponsor family members.
We believe that in order to create a better country, we need to focus on the important issues from within our own communities before we bring over new additions. Given this, we do believe in helping the best & brightest contribute to our society through programs like O-1A.
America is for Americans, it is not a given that anyone and everyone should be welcome in our home and immigration will continue on a case-by-case basis.
Illegal Immigration
Tens of millions. This negatively impacts the price of goods and wages for everyone but the stock market. This drains public safety resources.
On the front of illegal immigration, we need to better fund the men & women at the border to ensure a more streamlined approach, interdepartmental communication, and more resources. This will ensure better conditions for those at any stage of the intake/removal process. We would work with our strategic partners & contractors for increased surveillance drones leveraging AI.
The price-tag for the construction of a full border wall varies depending on the area & the source. Estimated costs range from several billion to an estimated 70 billion.
America is not for sale. Auctioning off access to our country to wealthy foreigners is anti-American no matter the short term gains in the economy or depletion of national debt
