Education

The Full Story

America's school system has failed. Our top positions are being filled by people coming from the upper-class of other countries with access to learn specific skills.

K-12 Policy:

If you're really talented in STEM, it's more likely you'll go into private industry for higher pay, rather than taking a non-competitive salary to teach our nation's youth.

In turn, our children receive lower-quality education. Other countries are now creating higher-quantity, and often higher-skilled doctors, scientists, engineers, and business leaders. Once paid in American dollars, that money frequently leaves our country and never returns. Inward flow of people, outbound flow of money. Now imagine this trend continues for 100 years - what happens to America?

If we 4.0x STEM teacher's salaries, then we can reverse course and avoid the effects this will have for our children. Higher-quality education comes from higher-quality sources, and improves the capabilities, livelihood, & the entire nation's future.

Many students do not respect their teachers because their teachers are poor. Drug dealers make more money. This is a failure of the past 10 administrations who did not address this issue and often continue to make the problem worse.

Collegiate Policy:

The cost of higher education has been out of control for decades.

Cap student loans at a 4.0% interest rate, create a small college-cost oversight board primarily focused on college administrators, to find where the money is really going.

The college industry is not a place which can allow predatory financial practices.

The lower cost of undergraduate degrees in countries like India, China, Japan.... frankly everywhere, has caused millions of American students to avoid becoming doctors, and unsurprisingly, healthcare costs continue to rise

Becoming a doctor should not be reserved for children of upper-class families who can afford med school. We have way too many finance students - and then we act surprised when goods (such as food, medicine, and housing) keep getting more expensive.

Agriculture, medical research, and architecture must be prioritized to prevent our country from decaying into a permanent debt-based economy. We're proposing special options for major-specific college education financing - and we want your help to support, and even design, a mathematically-flawless system for the future.
