Rules for Candidates

These are not guidelines or expectations. They are strictly enforced rules of the party which are non-negotiable.

All candidates, employees, and board members of the Production Party must follow these rules to ensure our brand remains trustworthy to the American public, and to ensure our legitimacy in Washington & the global stage.

Violating these rules while acting as a candidate, member, or board member of the party can result in legal action being taken against you personally with no protection from personal liability or accountability.

These rules only exist to ensure all party members to maintain loyalty to the United States and our people; to avoid corruption, and to protect you, as a candidate, from outside forces & their attack vectors.

Rules

1. No Foreign Funding.

No money from any non-American sources can contribute to your campaign or lifestyle, directly or indirectly. This goes for any PACs affiliated with any foreign nation. You know exactly what we mean by this.

By joining the Party, and thereby adhering to this rule, the American public will know you truly represent the people of the United States without worrying about international interference. This will significantly strengthen your stance during election season and clearly separate you (and us) from the risks of international corruption.

2. All donations must be made public

Any gifts or contributions of $500.00 or more must be made public in a permanently accessible manner. Private gifts from loved ones & friends should not exceed this amount without disclosure. Disclosure forms will be provided upon candidate approval.

If you receive multiple donations of $499.99 or less from any source and try to "loophole" this, we will find out and it will be considered a violation of this rule.

The amount required for disclosure is subject to change over time - we will provide written notice, sent to you directly as well as publicly announced.

3. Campaign announcements

You are not officially a Production Party candidate without approval of the Production Party board. The board decides in a vote. Publicly or privately claiming you are a candidate, or otherwise a representative of the Production Party, without having obtained written approval of the board will be considered fraud.

4. Public Decency

There is a high level of scrutiny applied to all candidates from any party. If you are selected as a candidate, we expect you will represent us with dignity before the public. Abstain from being heavily intoxicated in public, harassing others, or otherwise making a fool of yourself, as your behavior will reflect on us and our supporters by proxy of association. Failure to comply will result in you publicly being disbanded from the Production Party and you will be shamed by our community. Depending on severity, failure to adhere to this rule may result in legal action against you.
